Born and raised in rural North Iowa, Dr. Miranda Campbell of Heal Mental Health is committed to serving those living in the Midwest and understands the barriers that may impact treatment access in these communities. Rural residents are often in great need of mental health services, but typically have limited access due to a shortage of providers serving these areas. All services are provided using a confidential, HIPAA-compliant, secure online platform and from the comfort of your own home, with no need to travel long distances to meet a provider.
Dr. Campbell is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who holds a Ph.D in Clinical Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her post-doctoral work focused on medical and rehabilitative psychology. She has over 10 years of experience training and practicing in a variety of settings, both rural and urban, including university counseling centers, hospitals, the Veterans Health Administration and private practice. Her areas of clinical expertise include the following: adjustment to illness, medical management, chronic pain, treatment of depressive and anxious disorders, stress management, women's health (including peri and post-partum care), and achieving health goals. She also has extensive experience developing and implementing telehealth modalities to reach underserved populations. Dr. Campbell’s therapeutic approach is warm, client-focused, collaborative, and rooted in evidence-based practice. Dr. Campbell is currently licensed to treat individuals living in Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin.
